More than 20 years ago, RITROVO® founders Ron Post and Ilyse Rathet lived in Italy, studying, traveling, and researching indigenous foods and wines. Along the way, they met and gradually built relationships with talented, small-scale producers throughout the country. Ilyse and Ron also developed a passion for the products that they found. These foods came to “tell a story”— one of centuries-old traditions, the value of diversity, and the implications of supporting small farm production.

It is out of this passion that RITROVO® Italian Regional Foods LLC was created. Years later, they continue their passionate search for new producers, products, and product formats, bringing these discoveries directly to you, “from farm to table”.
